Results of Operation Sceptre, Bexley Knife Crime Week of action

Last week Bexley Borough took part in the MPS week of action targeting knife crime across London.  The operation has resulted in the following positive actions.  

Arrests – 15

Stop/Search – 58

Vehicles seizures – 7 (Including 2 Lost or stolen vehicle)

Traffic Tickets – 6

Fines – 3

Community Resolution – 3

Weapons Sweeps – 6

Challenge 25 visits – 5

As part of this operations knives like the one attached were seized and taken off the streets with the suspects being arrested and dealt with for the criminal offences.  

Officer continue to listen to our communities and conduct proactive patrols across Bexley to deal with violent crime and the goals of our communities.
